This early ultrasound is performed to confirm pregnancy, visualize the gestational sac, yolk, and fetal pole. Get a non-diagnostic estimate of how far along you are.
We always start with a transabdominal scan, and if needed, a transvaginal scan will be performed for clearer images.
You’ll be able to see the movement of your baby’s heartbeat in M-mode, and we will let you know the heart rate in beats per minute (BPM), since it is preferable not to use Doppler on the baby’s heart before 11 weeks.

Appointment Deposit (40%): This deposit is refundable if you cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
Please note: Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in a reschedule, and your deposit will be lost.
Preparation Instructions
Early Pregnancy (6-12 Weeks): Please arrive with a full bladder for clearer images.
For Packages (Precious View, Memory Maker Session, or Deluxe Baby View): If possible, drink plenty of water starting one week before your appointment. The more fluid in front of your baby’s face, the clearer the images will be — so please stay well hydrated before your session. Be sure to eat before your session. You may also bring a small snack.
